CIT for Heb 6
Forums
1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

The book uses a large amount of comparative language. Most is about Jesus:

Better hope
Better testament
More excellent ministry

More excellent sacrifice
More excellent name
Worthy of more glory
Greater than the prophets
Greater than Moses
Greater than Joshua
Greater than Aaron

2 types of mysteries
Forums
2 types of mysteries -
- contradictions
- insufficient information
To illustrate these 2 types of mysteries, consider Sherlock Holmes investigating a jewel theft:
There may be insufficient information to establish the identity of the thief - initially. The possibility still exists that new information later will be uncovered.
