God's (decretive) will is always done.
Acts 7:51
Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
1 Thessalonians 4:3
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
This is not a command, it rather is a statement of what the will of God is. Was this will of God accomplished in Thessalonica? It seems it was not in Corinth.

God seeks his own glory.
God is love. 1 John 4:8.
Love seeks not her own. 1 Cor. 13:5.
[Charity] Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Therefore, god does not seek his own.
However, Calvinism posits the opposite:
... The primary, or “supreme and ultimate” end of Christ's death is the glory of God. The glory of God stands at the center in Reformed theology. ...
... Reformed theologians see that God's glory is the primary goal and end of everything which God does, including the salvation of the elect, but that in itself is not the primary goal; the glory of God is the primary goal. 1

All that God does is for his pleasure.
Proof by contradiction, of the invalidity of the claim
Rom 15:3 says Christ, who is God, pleased not himself.
If the claim is true, we have a contradiction.
Therefore the claim is not true.
